Police are investigating a robbery that occurred on Wednesday, 3 April at a Spotlight store in the Mount Barker Homemaker Centre.

At  8.15am a man entered the store and threatened staff members with a weapon that was a knife or machete.

The man demanded money and made off with a small amount of cash. He left the store through the  rear door.

There were no physical injuries to any staff members.

The suspect is described as approximately 170cms tall, of medium build and about 80kg.

He was wearing a black baseball cap and was dressed completely in black clothes.
