Elizabeth police are investigating an aggravated robbery which occurred overnight at Salisbury.

Just after midnight two men, one armed with a pole and the other armed with a knife, entered the United service station on the Salisbury Highway and threatened the console operator.

The suspects stole cash and cigarettes and are believed to have left in a dark coloured Commodore sedan driven by a woman with blonde hair.

Both suspects were wearing hooded tops and had their faces covered by handkerchiefs.
