Police are seeking to identify the driver of a white Land Rover involved in the theft of petrol from a service station on North East Rd, Modbury.

A white Land Rover has been linked to at least nine petrol theft incidents since November 2012.

Each time the Land Rover has been bearing stolen number plates which have been taken from different vehicles.

Police today released a CCTV image from the Modbury drive off which occurred about 6.15pm on Thursday 28 March. These plates had been stolen from a vehicle which was parked in Mark Rd, Elizabeth Vale, on 26 March.
