Police are investigating the armed robbery of a florist in Burleigh Heads today.
At 1.05pm, a man entered the Gold Coast Highway shop and demanded money before threatening the female attendant with what was believed to be a weapon.
He left the store on foot with a sum of cash and headed in a southerly direction.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance with a proportionate build and grey hair.
