Police are investigating the armed robbery of a golf club in the state’s Central West.
Just after 7.30pm today (Sunday 7 April 2013), a 49-year-old barman was confronted by a man as he was closing the Ploughmans Lane, Orange, club.
The barman was threatened with a firearm and was ordered to get on the ground.
A second offender then assisted the armed man in taking money from the till and safe.
Both men fled and police were alerted.
Officers from Canobolas Local Area Command are investigating the incident and appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The first man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 183cm tall and of thin build.
Police have not been given a description of the second man.
