Detectives on Sydney’s northern beaches are conducting inquiries after an armed hold up at a Balgowlah brothel.

Two men armed with tyre levers entered the brothel on Condamine Street, Balgowlah, about 2am today (Thursday 11 April 2013) and threatened the manager and employees.

The pair stole cash from a register, an iPad and a hands-free telephone before fleeing the scene.

None of the victims was injured.

Police from Manly Local Area Command and Forensic Services Branch responded to the incident.

The offenders have been described only as male and wearing tracksuits and baseball caps.

Their faces were concealed at the time of the robbery.
