Police are investigating an armed robbery at a licensed retailer in Clayton, which occurred at approximately 11.40am today.
Police were called to the premises at the corner of Clayton Road and Princess Highway after a man armed with a knife entered the store and made demands for cash. A staff member complied and handed over an amount of cash.
The offender fled on foot.
No one was injured during the incident.
The man is described as approximately 185cm tall, aged in his 30s and of a solid build. He was wearing a black puffer jacket, dark track pants, a dark peaked cap with white stripes and runners. His face was covered with either a yellow scarf or item of yellow clothing.
