Detectives from the Ipswich Criminal Investigation Branch investigating the assault and robbery of a pizza delivery driver at Churchill last night have charged two men with robbery with violence, and in company.

It will be alleged that the 35-year driver was punched in the head when he exited his car to deliver pizzas at a Fitzroy Road address around 8pm.

Two men stole the pizzas before fleeing on foot.

The driver was not seriously injured.

Two 19-year-old men, one from Churchill and the other from Surfers Paradise, are due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on May 8.

A 19-year-old Churchill woman was charged with receiving tainted property. She is also due in court on May 8.
