Police are investigating an armed robbery which occurred on the north shore last night.
About 11.45pm (Thursday 11 April 2013), two employees were working in a health spa on Help Street, Chatswood, when two men entered the premises.
The men, wearing dark clothing and with their faces covered, threatened the staff with iron bars and were given an amount of cash.
They also stole a mobile phone from one of the employees before fleeing the scene. No-one was injured in the incident.
Police from North Shore Local Area Command attended the scene and conducted inquiries.
Detectives are investigating possible links between this incident and an armed robbery which occurred at a fast food restaurant on Condamine Street, Manly Vale, about an hour earlier, and also another armed robbery which occurred at a brothel on Condamine Street, Balgowlah, early yesterday morning (11 April 2013).
