Police believe the man who robbed the Hove Post Office this afternoon was also responsible for a similar robbery at the Kensington Park Post Office on Tuesday.

Officers investigating both robberies renewed their appeal for help to identify the man, who demanded money from staff and left with cash on both occasions.

No weapon was seen during either robbery and no one was hurt during the incidents.

Today’s robbery was at the Hove Post Office, Brighton Rd, Hove, about 2.30pm. The man left on foot and was seen to walk south on Brighton Road.

The offender is described as being of Caucasian appears, 35-40 years, 190cm tall, with a slim build. He was wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses.
