Melbourne Embona Taskforce detectives have released CCTV footage following an armed robbery at a convenience store in Melbourne last week.
Investigators have been told a woman entered the Queen Street store about 4.20am on Monday 15 April with a piece of cloth covering her hand.
She allegedly told the staff member she was armed with a weapon; however no weapon was sighted during the incident.
The offender made demands for cash and the staff member complied, handing over an amount of money from the till.
The woman then apologised to the staff member before she left the store.
No one was injured during the incident.
Police have released the below image of a woman who may be able to assist with their investigation.
The woman is described as being Caucasian, 180cm tall, medium build with brown hair.
She was wearing a pink t-shirt, ¾ length blue jeans and black shoes.
