Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit are seeking further information from the public in relation to an alleged armed robbery in the Greater Bendigo area on Saturday morning.
It’s believed two men who are known to each other were involved in an altercation in the early hours of Saturday morning prior to a firearm being produced and an amount of cash stolen.
A 19-year-old Flora Hill man was subsequently arrested in Friswell Avenue around 5.15pm, after a search warrant was executed in nearby Proud Terrace by the Special Operations Group.
A number of other search warrants were executed after the man’s arrest in the Bendigo area.
Madison Martin has been charged with a number of offences including armed robbery, theft, make threats to kill, prohibited person possess firearm, intentionally cause injury and traffick cannabis.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before the Bendigo Magistrates’ Court today (22 April)
