Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station at Coomera overnight.

Around 11.30pm, a man carrying a skateboard entered the Pacific Motorway premises and approached two employees.

The man produced a gun, threatened the employees and made demands for money.

One of the store employees opened the cash register and handed over a sum of money.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

At the time of the offence, the man was wearing a black hooded jacket and a black balaclava.
