Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a theft from a service station in Bendigo over a week ago.
Police have been told that a man entered the McCrae Street premises just after 7pm on 20 April.
The man was given a small amount of money after he made demands to the staff member who was standing behind the counter.
After being handed the money, he left the store, walking north along McCrae Street.
The offender is described as Caucasian, 160-165cms tall, aged in his mid 30s, unshaven reddish stubble with prominent cheek bones.
Police have released a face image of a man they would like to speak to about the incident.
