St Marys detectives are investigating an armed robbery where staff were threatened with a knife and metal pole in Sydney’s west.

About 12.10pm yesterday (Monday 6 May 2013), an unknown man entered a business on Oxford Street, Cambridge Park.

He allegedly threatened staff members with a knife and metal bar, before demanding cash.

The man stole an amount of money before fleeing in a dark grey, Toyota Corolla sedan, with black and yellow number plates.

No one was injured during the incident.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicle leaving the area, or have information about it, to come forward.

Also, anyone who may know the identity of the man, described as of Caucasian appearance, is asked to contact St Marys Police
