Police are searching for two men who robbed a tavern at Beenleigh at gunpoint in the early hours of this morning.

Around 1.50am two men armed with sawn off firearms entered the Distillery Road tavern and made demands for money obtaining cash from two female employees, aged 48 and 27 years, and a 42-year-old male patron of the business.

The men then demanded access to a number of poker machines where they obtained further money.

During the incident it appears one of the men discharged a firearm into the floor.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Both of the men are described as Caucasian in appearance, aged between 18 to 25 years and were wearing runners, track pants, dark coloured hoodies, gloves and their faces covered.

A woman has been charged after an ice-cream store was robbed in Aspley this evening.

At 6.20pm, a woman entered the store on Gympie Road and police will allege that she produced a knife and made demands for cash.

Staff have complied and handed her a sum of cash before she fled the scene on foot.

No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

Patrolling police located a woman in Carseldine a short time later and took her into custody.

A 28-year-old Chermside woman has been charged with one count of armed robbery and is due to appear in the Pine Rivers Magistrate Court tomorrow.

Around 9.45pm a man entered the Telemon Street business and demanded money from the employees.

They complied, and the man put the cash into a plastic bag before fleeing on foot out the back of the store towards Helen Street.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as being Caucasian, aged in his 20s, approximately 175cm tall with a slim build wearing dark clothing including a black beanie, black jeans, black gloves and multi-coloured bandanna.

Police have charged a man following an armed robbery in Nundah this afternoon.

Officers were called to a hairdressing salon on Sandgate Road at 1.40pm after a man entered the business and produced a knife.

He demanded money and pushed a female employee into a shelf before stealing a sum of cash from the till and a mobile phone. He then fled the scene.

Woman did not require medical treatment at the scene.

A 46-year-old East Brisbane man was charged with armed robber and obstructing police.

He will appear in Brisbane Magistrate Court tomorrow.

Detectives are investigating the armed robbery of tavern in Durack overnight.

Just before midnight two men, both armed with knives, entered the business on Inala Avenue.

The men demanded money from staff members before fleeing the tavern with a sum of cash and bottles of alcohol.

The men were last seen running towards Treeline Place.

No one was physically injured during the robbery.

One man is described as approximately 191cm tall, of a slim build, and wearing a balaclava, a navy-blue Nike hoodie with dark blue pants and white sneakers.

The other man is described as approximately 183cm tall, of a heavy build and wearing a balaclava, dark blue jumper and blue pants.

Both men are described as Pacific Islander in appearance.

Detectives are investigating after an armed robbery at a tobacconist in Marsden this evening.

Just after 6pm a man entered the business on Chambers Flat Road, armed with a knife.

The man demanded money from a female staff member before fleeing the store on foot.

The man was last seen riding a bicycle south, along Chambers Flat Road.

No one was physically injured during the robbery.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 187cm tall, is of a slim build and was last seen wearing a grey hooded jumper and a balaclava.

Detectives investigating the armed robbery of a Burrum Heads service station on the weekend have released CCTV footage to identify those responsible.

Around 5.40am on Saturday, two men arrived at the Ivor Drive service station in a stolen white Nissan X-Trail, armed with knives and a firearm.

The pair entered the premises wearing balaclavas and approached the counter where the attendant was able to lock themselves in a back room.

The men then fled the business in the vehicle with a sum of cash towards the southern side of the service station.

No one was physically injured and investigations are continuing.

Initial investigations indicate the white Nissan X-Trail bearing Queensland registration 089YLL was stolen from an address on Charlton Esplanade Scarness at Hervey Bay at 4.30am the same morning.

One of the men is described as Caucasian, solid build, approximately 175cm tall, wearing black shorts, grey hoody, red and white scarf over their face and black, and red shoes.

The second is described as Caucasian, with a proportionate build, approximately 185cm tall, wearing blue overalls, black balaclava, and black and blue shoes.

Detectives are investigating after a hotel was robbed in Oonoonba last night.

Intital investigations suggest that a woman entered a bottle shop at the hotel on Abbott Street at 7.30pm and took two cartons of alcohol from a fridge.

The woman then left the business and walked into the carpark, and when she was followed by an employee, two men ran towards the attendant and one was armed with a knife.

The attendant went back inside the bottle shop and the trio were last seen running on Ireland Street.

No one was injured as a result of the incident.

Investigations are continuing.

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a store in Regents Park last night.

Around 7.30pm, a man entered the Emerald Drive business armed with a knife and demanded the 54-year-old male attendant lie on the ground.

The man then jumped the counter and removed money from the cash register and took goods.

He ran from the scene, across Emerald Park and into Emerald Park bushland.

He is described as 160-170cm tall, wearing a black hoodie and black jeans.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Investigations are continuing.

A man has been charged with the armed robbery of a service station last night.

Just after 7pm, a man entered the petrol station on Logan River Road, allegedly armed with a knife and demanded cash from the cash register.

The attendant removed money and placed it on the counter when the man allegedly took the money and left the premises.

Officers with the assistance of the dog squad successfully located the man nearby in Edens Landing an hour later.

A 24-year-old Loganlea man has been charged with armed robbery and will appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
