A man has been arrested after an aggravated robbery at Dry Creek last night.

Police will allege that about 11pm on Monday 16 April, a man entered the gaming room of the hotel on Port Wakefield Road and threatened staff, claiming that he had a firearm.

The man fled with an amount of cash, and was last seen driving away from the scene in a silver Holden sedan.

The registration of the car was seen by a witness, and patrols searched the surrounding suburbs. Police found the suspect in the car a short time later in Magor Crescent in Salisbury where he was arrested.

A 37-year-old man of Manningham was charged with aggravated robbery and breach of bail. He was refused bail and will appear in court later today.

Detectives from Elizabeth CIB, acting on information from the public, have arrested a man tonight in connection with a robbery at a Parafield business yesterday morning.

Just after 6am, Wednesday 11 April, police responded to assistance calls from a service station on Lawrence Hargrave Way after reports a man had entered a service station armed with a screw driver demanding money. The man left on foot with a small amount of cash, there are no reported physical injuries.

Patrols, with the assistance of Police Dog PD Havoc searched the area but were unable to locate the man.

Following information from the public, Detectives attended a Blakeview address this evening and arrested a 31-year-old man from Ceduna and charged him with aggravated robbery.

He has been refused bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court tomorrow.

A man who allegedly threatened a woman with a syringe and stole her handbag at Kilkenny, has been chased down by members of the public and detained until police arrived.

Just before 10.30am this morning, a woman was just getting into her car at the Arndale Shopping Centre, when a man armed with a syringe opened the passenger’s side and threatened the woman demanding her handbag.  The man wrenched the handbag from the woman’s grasp and fled on foot towards Hanson Road.

The woman uninjured but shaken from the robbery, yelled out for assistance pointing out the fleeing suspect.

Two men nearby not known to the victim, then gave chase on foot apprehending the suspect with the handbag, near the corner of Hanson Road and Torrens Road and detaining the man until a police patrol arrived.

The 59-year-old man of no fixed place was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.

Bail is expect to be refused  and he will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.

A man has been charged following an aggravated robbery at an Adelaide convenience store this week.

Just before 4am on Monday 19 March, a man entered the Waymouth Street store allegedly threatening the staff member with a syringe before stealing drinks and cash from the till.

The attendant was not physically injured during the robbery.

Police including police dog Nero searched for the man but he was unable to be located at the time.

Just after 10.30pm, Tuesday 20 March, a 30-year-old man from no fixed place was arrested for an unrelated matter. Today he was interviewed and charged with aggravated robbery.

The man was refused bail and will appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court on 21 March.

Superintendent Craig Wall, Officer in Charge Eastern Adelaide LSA was pleased that the alleged offender of this appalling and violent crime has been apprehended so quickly.

“Police are very pleased that the victim of this aggravated robbery who was threatened with an uncapped syringe did the right thing and did not become involved in any physical altercation,” he said.

Police arrested a man yesterday following an ongoing investigation into petrol drive offs in the Adelaide metropolitan area.

Police will allege the man committed 22 petrol drive offs at 18 separate locations between 16 February and 15 March.

The 48-year-old from Parafield Gardens has been charged with 22 counts of theft and bailed to appear at the Elizabeth Magistrates Court at a later date.

Police are at the scene of an aggravated robbery at Hindmarsh.

About 4.10pm, a man armed with a crowbar entered the gaming room of the hotel on Port Road and threatened staff. He demanded money, and fled the scene with an amount of cash in a white Holden Cruze sedan driven by a second man.

The car was recovered nearby, but both suspects are still wanted by police.

No one was injured.

The first suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 172cm tall, medium build, and was wearing a black shirt with white writing, grey tracksuit pants, and concealed his face with a black scarf.

There is minimal description of the driver of the Holden sedan.

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Walkerville this morning.

Just after 12.30am, Friday 9 March, two men entered a Walkerville Terrace gaming room and threatened staff and patrons with a knife before running off with cash. No one was physically injured during the robbery.

Both suspects are described as men wearing dark clothing, balaclavas and gloves. They were last seen south on Stephens Terrace.

Patrols cordon off the area and Police Dog Havoc attended and searched the area but could not locate anyone.

Following an investigation Major Fraud Detectives have arrested and charged a woman with aggravated theft.

It will be alleged between Saturday 3 February and Monday 5 March while employed the woman defrauded the owner of the business by hiding payments to her personal account.

Investigations are continuing the 48-year-old woman from Belair has been charged with 17 counts of aggravated theft she has been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 17 April.

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Hilton overnight, where cash and cigarettes were stolen from a service station.

Just after midnight, two men entered the service station on Sir Donald Bradman Drive and threatened staff, while demanding money. One of the men was armed with a knife.

An amount of cash was stolen, along with cigarettes, and the two men then ran away towards Adelaide.

No one was injured during the incident.

The first suspect was wearing a long-sleeve camouflage jacket with a hood, black jeans and black sneakers. He was also carrying a black backpack with white writing on it.

The second suspect was wearing a black jumper with a camouflage-pattern hood, black jeans, black sneakers and white gloves.
