Police are searching for a man after a Pakington St pharmacy was held up this afternoon.

Police believe the offender, believed to be aged between 20 and 30-years old, walked to the rear of the store’s counter and waited for a staff member to finish serving a customer before demanding medication at about 2.30pm.

The man was armed with what is believed to be a hunting knife.

He then grabbed a plastic crate containing medication and left the premises.

The Caucasian man was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and sunglasses, and was last seen on the corner of Candover and Pakington streets in Geelong West shortly after the incident.
