Police have charged a juvenile and a man in relation to an armed robbery on Targo Street, Bundaberg last night.
Shortly after 9pm a woman was allegedly approached by a man and two juveniles, who assaulted her and threatened her with a metal bar.
It is alleged that one of the males took cash and cigarettes from the woman’s handbag while she was being restrained by another offender.
The woman received minor injuries during the incident.
A short time later, police located two of the offenders in Bourbong Street, where they were taken into custody.
A 17-year-old Bundaberg East man has been charged with common assault, assault occasioning bodily harm, and armed robbery with violence. He will appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court today.
A 14-year-old boy has also been charged with common assault, assault occasioning bodily harm, and armed robbery with violence and will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
