June 21, 2011 – Armed Robbery – Hotel – Hervey Bay

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a hotel in Urraween last night.
Around 8.45pm a man entered the Boat Harbour Drive tavern, indicated that he had a weapon and demanded cash from a female employee.
The staff member complied and the man fled with a sum of cash.
No one was injured.
He was last seen getting into a small white car that drove away down Boat Harbor Drive towards Eli Waters.
The offender is described as about 25-years-old, approximately 175cm tall with a heavy build. He was wearing grey tracksuit pants, a black jumper and a beanie.
