Police are investigating the armed robbery of a video store in Vincent, Townsville, overnight.
Around 9.40pm, a man entered the Nathan Street business and threatened the female store employee with a knife before fleeing on foot with a sum of cash.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, between 30 and 40 years of age, approximately 180cms tall and of a medium build.
He was wearing a cream coloured jacket, red shirt, dark pants and a green cap with a light green cloth underneath at the time.
The female employee was uninjured during this incident
