Police are investigating a serious armed robbery of a store in Raceview earlier today.

Just before 7am three men approached the owner who was outside the store on Raceview Street when one of the men allegedly produced a gun, threatening the man and forcing him inside the premises.
 
Once inside the store, the trio allegedly assaulted the man and demanded cash.

On receiving a sum of money the men have fled the area in the victim’s car, which was later found abandoned on Cemetary Road.

It is believed the men then left in a EB model Ford Falcon.

Police are searching for three males, all described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged between 15 and 20.

One male was wearing dark pants with white stripes and a white hoodie, he also has a tattoo on his lower back. Another male was wearing a blue track suit with the word “Leuke” on the back. The third male was also wearing a blue track suit with a white/grey hoodie.

Police believe the males pictured may be able to assist with their investigation.
