Police are presently investigating an unarmed robbery of a taxi driver along Grand Plaza Drive at Browns Plains last night.
At approximately 10.30pm, a group of people have approached a taxi driver complaining they had been waiting for a maxi taxi.
The taxi driver has begun to use his own phone to call for a maxi taxi when one member from the group has grabbed the phone.
The group has then fled on foot along Browns Plains Road.
Investigations are continuing.
