Police will allege evidence left at the scene of an aggravated robbery at the Easy Stop delicatessen at Glenelg North on 16 April, led to the arrest of a 35-year-old Glenelg North yesterday.
During the robbery he was armed with a large knife and demanded cash and cigarettes.
He left the store empty handed but leaving behind the cap he was wearing and the knife used in the incident.
He will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
Also yesterday, police arrested a 17-year-old youth from Sheidow Park for aggravated robbery.
It will be alleged that he robbed a 19-year-old Flagstaff Hill man as he walked along Brighton Road, Brighton at 1 am on 26 June 2011.
During the robbery the man’s mobile phone and wallet were stolen.
The youth was granted police bail to appear in the Youth Court at a later date
