Police are investigating an armed robbery in Warner this morning in which two men have threatened a service station attendant and fled with a sum of cash and cigarettes.
Around 12.50, the two men have kicked in a locked front glass door to gain entry to the Old North Road service station and threatened the employee with a metal bar and a small firearm.
The male employee has handed over a quantity of cash to the men who have then run away along Old North Road.
No one was injured during this incident.
One man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 185cm tall and of slim build. He was wearing a white hooded jumper, light coloured tracksuit pants, a baseball cap and a bandanna.
The other man is also described as being of Caucasian appearance, 185cm tall and of slim build. He was wearing a bandanna, a blue hooded jumper, black trousers and white shoes.
