Detectives investigating armed robberies at three Sydney banks have released images of a man they believe might be able to assist with their inquiries.
Just before 11.45am on Thursday 30 June 2011, a man entered a bank branch on New South Head Road at Edgecliff, in Sydney’s east, and threatened staff with a handgun.
The offender stole a large sum of cash before fleeing the scene.
No shots were fired in the incident and no one was injured.
Police responded quickly to the incident and secured a crime scene, which was forensically examined.
Detectives from State Crime Command’s Robbery and Serious Crime Squad have formed Strike Force Reedy to investigate the Edgecliff incident, as well as robberies at banks at St Ives on Wednesday 4 May 2011 and St Leonards on Friday 24 June 2011.

He is described as being aged in his 30s to 40s, of Caucasian appearance, 185cm tall with a medium build and fair complexion.
