Police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store in Mackay last night.
Initial investigations suggest that a man armed with a knife entered the store on Victoria Street just before midnight.
The man threatened a female staff member and demanded money, leaving the store with a sum of cash.
He is described as around 35-years-old, Caucasian with a slim build and approximately 180cm tall.
He was wearing a dark coloured jacket and blue pants.
Police investigations are continuing
