Police have charged a teenager following an attempted armed robbery of a local business in Berserker this afternoon.
It is alleged the youth entered the Little Musgrave Street store just after 2pm armed with a knife.
He allegedly threatened the employee and demanded cash.
The 71-year-old attendant allegedly threw an object at the boy and he fled the store empty handed.
The 15-year-old has been charged with one count of attempted armed robbery and will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justices Act
