Police are investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred at Kilburn this morning.

 Police will allege that at about 1.50am two men armed with steel poles entered the Albion Hotel on Churchill Road, and demanded money.

One of the men jumped over the bar and started removing cash from the till, while the other started throwing plates at security staff.

The pair fled with an amount of cash to a waiting 1992 gold Holden sedan, driven by a third man, and were last seen travelling south on Churchill Road.

The first suspect is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, 172cm tall, very slim build, and was wearing a black Adidas hooded jumper with white stripes on both sleeves, white gloves, and a bandanna covering his face.

The second suspect is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, 175cm tall, slim build, wearing a black Nike hooded jumper and grey tracksuit pants, and was also wearing white gloves and a bandanna covering his face.

There is no description of the driver of the car, but the registration of the car is S796AGS.
