Police are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store at Slacks Creek earlier this morning.

Around 9.40am a man armed with a small pocket knife entered the premises situated on Kingston Road, confronted the store employee and made demands for money.

The man obtained an undisclosed amount of money from the till before running out of the store.

No one was injured during the incident.

The offender is described as aged in his mid to late 20’s, approximately 182cm tall with a dark complexion and was wearing a light yellow polo shirt, cream or white pants, black shoes, a navy blue hat with a band around it and sunglasses.
