Salisbury police are currently obtaining a statement from a shop owner after man robbed a cake shop at Salisbury North.
Just after 5.30pm, a man armed with a baseball bat threatened the woman working behind the counter at the White’s Road shop, stealing a small amount of cash from the till.
The male suspect is described as Caucasian aged in his 20’s, wearing a light blue jacket, blue jeans and a baseball cap.
He fled in an early model cream coloured Datsun Sunny containing several other men.
