Police are appealing for information following the armed robbery of a pizza-delivery driver in Sydney’s south-west over the weekend.
About 10.30pm on Saturday 8 October 2011, a 38-year-old pizza-delivery driver attended a unit block on Bendigo Place, Cartwright, to make a delivery.
As the driver walked towards the building, he was approached by two men.
One man was armed with a gun and the other had a knife.
The offenders ordered the delivery driver to take off his bum bag and put it on the ground. They then ran off with the bag, which contained an amount of cash.
Police now wish to speak with two men who may be able to help with their inquiries.
The first is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 19 years old, and 160 to 170cm tall. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a dark jacket and a scarf around his face.
The second man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, and about 18 years old. He was also wearing a scarf around his face.
