October 8, 2011 – Armed Robbery – Hotel – Klemzig

Holden Hill Police are seeking information from the public after a hotel at Klemzig was robbed this morning.
At about 3am, three men, one brandishing a hammer smashed the entry door to the gaming room of the OG Hotel on North East Road at Klemzig and then threatened staff demanding money.
They stole cash from the till and also a handbag from an elderly woman that was playing the pokies.
Three suspects all wearing hooded tops and scarves over their faces, fled on foot, before leaving in a silver station wagon. Fortunately there were no physical injuries.
