Police are searching for three men they believe are responsible for an armed robbery at Oxenford last night.

Around 10.20 two men armed with weapons entered a business on the Old Pacific Highway and threatened a male employee, demanding money.

The employee has handed over a quantity of cash to the men who have then fled the scene in a vehicle believed to be a 2005 maroon Holden Calais sedan.

No one was injured during this incident.

One man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 177cm tall and of slim build.  He was wearing a black hooded jumper, black tracksuit pants with two white pinstripes down the side, white shoes and a bandanna.

The other man is also described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 183cm tall and of slim build.  He was wearing a black hooded jumper, black tracksuit pants with a gold stripe down the side, white and grey shoes and a bandanna.

A third man is believed to have driven the vehicle.
