Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Sydney’s south-west yesterday.
About 9pm (Monday 24 October 2011), three armed men entered a bowling club on Margaret Street, Belfield, threatening a male employee.
The men were armed with knives and a firearm and demanded money from the man.
After stealing an amount of money as well as some property the men left the location.
Police were contacted and attended the location shortly after, and a crime scene was established.
An investigation into the incident has begun and police wish to speak to three men who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The first man is described as being 185cm tall and of solid build. He was wearing a balaclava, dark blue jumper, dark-coloured tracksuit pants and white joggers. He was also wearing plastic gloves and carrying a firearm.
The second man is described as being 150cm tall, with a stocky build and having green eyes. He was wearing a dark baseball cap over a dark-coloured beanie, a dark-coloured jumper and long, dark-coloured pants. The man used a scarf to cover his face and wore gardening gloves.
The third man is described as being 150cm tall and of a medium build. He was wearing a dark-coloured shirt and dark pants.
