October 27, 2011 – Armed Robbery – Newsagent – Yandina

Police are investigating the attempted armed robbery of a newsagent at Yandina this morning in which a woman was threatened with a knife.
Around 6am, two men entered the store on Stevens Street and threatened the female employee with a knife while demanding cash.
The men subsequently fled from the store empty handed.
One man is described as 180cm tall, with a slim build and dark brown hair. The other is described as approximately 165cm tall, slightly built and with blonde hair.
Both are believed to be in their late teens to early 20’s and Caucasian in appearance.
The female employee was not injured physically during this incide
