Police are investigating two thefts and an attempt theft from Dan Murphy stores last week.
The man was seen leaving in a car.
At about 5.45pm on Tuesday 18 October a man entered the Dan Murphy’s Norwood store and attempted to leave with six cartons of Johnnie Walker Scotch whisky in a shopping trolley.
He was challenged by staff and left without the liquor.
He was seen to get into an unknown car.
At about 10.48am on Sunday 23 October two men entered the Dan Murphy’s Welland store and stole eight cartons of Johnnie Walker Scotch whisky.
The men left in what has been described as an old cream coloured hatchback displaying stolen SA number plate XOO-756.
Four of the eight cartons were left behind in the car park.
It is believed that the same offenders are involved in each incident.
One of the men is described as being caucasian, about 40-years-old, 177 cm tall with a fair complexion.
He was wearing a dark long sleeved tee shirt and an olive coloured baseball cap.
The second man is described as being caucasian, about 177 cm tall, with a fair complexion.
He was wearing a red long sleeved tee shirt and a dark coloured cap.
