Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Bligh Park last night.
About 8.45pm (Wednesday 23 November 2011), a man disguised in a black balaclava entered a business in Stewart St.
It is alleged the man, who was armed with a black pistol, walked up to a female staff member and demanded she open a register.
The staff member opened the register, before the man removed an amount of cash and left the premises.
No shots were fired during the incident and no injuries were reported.
Police arrived at the scene a short time later and an investigation into the incident has commenced.
At the time of the incident, the man was wearing a black balaclava, black jacket, black gloves, black pants, a black belt with a silver buckle on it, and a black t-shirt with white writing across the front.
As well as carrying a black pistol in his right hand, he was also holding a cooler bag in his left hand.
He allegedly left the scene in a white sedan, possibly a mid 1990s Mitsubishi Magna.
