November 21, 2011 – Armed Robbery – Post Office – O’Sullivan Beach

A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged with an aggravated robbery that occurred on 22 August 2011.
Last Friday, 18 November, investigators from Operation Counteract arrested the man for the robbery.
Police allege the man, armed with a machette, entered an O’Sullivan Beach post office and threatened staff.
Money was obtained and the man fled the scene.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
Police bail was not granted and the man will appear before the Holden Hill Magistrates Court in due course.
