December 10, 2011 – Armed Robbery – Store – Eight Mile Plains

Police have charged a man following an alleged armed robbery in Eight Mile Plains last night.
It will be alleged that a man entered a store on Padstow Road around 7pm and demanded cash after pouring flammable liquid on the counter and threatening to set it alight.
The man fled the scene after allegedly obtaining a sum of cash, however police located him at an address in Cleveland early this morning.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
A 25-year-old Cleveland man has been charged with armed robbery, and will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning
