Two men are to face court after an alleged armed robbery at Logan Central last night.

It will be alleged that shortly before midnight two men entered a service station on Wembley Road with one man allegedly threatening the console operator with a pair of scissors.

The two men then allegedly escaped with a sum of cash and some cigarettes.

The male console operator was not physically injured during the alleged incident.

A 26-year-old Slacks Creek man and a 34-year-old Loganlea man have each been charged with armed robbery in company.

Both men are expected to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on December 12.
