January 14th, 2012 – Armed Robbery – Local Business – Capalaba

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a store in Capalaba this afternoon.
Initial information suggests shortly after 5pm a man entered the Mt Cotton Road store allegedly armed with a knife and demanded money from a female employee. The man allegedly grabbed a box believed to contain a sum of cash and has run from the store.
The employee was not physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as Caucasian, about 175cm tall, proportionate build, fair complexion with short light brown hair. He was wearing a grey long sleeved hooded jumper, dark coloured pants and white shoes.
Police investigations are continuing.
