Police are appealing for public information following a number of burglaries, including two which targeted ATMs in the Yamanto and Springfield areas overnight.
The first incident happened just after midnight at a shopping centre in Ash Street, Yamanto where it appears two men used a vehicle to break into a business in an attempt to steal an ATM.
Around 3.30am police responded to a break and enter of a business on Redbank Plains Road where preliminary information indicates two men gained entry but left without taking anything.
Just after 4am it is believed offenders have used a vehicle to break into a tavern on Springfield Parkway in an attempt to steal an ATM. The pair were disturbed by a member of the public and fled on foot.
Police believe all three incidents may be linked and are appealing for any further information from anyone who may have seen a white older model 4WD ute with a canopy, black bulbar and black snorkel in the area at the time.
