Police from the Rosehill Local Area Command are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery at a service station overnight.

 About 11.15pm (Monday 23 January 2012), three men entered a service station on Blaxcell Street, Granville.

One of the men was armed with a pistol, another was armed with a machete, when they threatened the console operator and demanded cash.

The male staff member complied with their demands and the trio fled with an amount of cash.

Police were called to the scene and a crime scene was established.

The man armed with the pistol has been described as wearing white gloves with a black hoodie and a balaclava covering his face, and knee length denim shorts.

The man armed with the machete has been described as being a solid build and wearing a black short sleeve shirt with knee length denim shorts. He had a yellow cloth covering his face.

The third man was not armed, and he was wearing black track pants with a black hoodie and white gloves. He had a balaclava covering his face.
