May 26, 2011 – Armed Robbery – Fast Food Outlet – Yatala

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a fast food store at Yatala last evening.
Around 7.15pm a man entered the Old Pacific Highway store armed with a machete and demanded money from the female attendant.
Upon receiving an undisclosed sum of cash the man then ran from the store and was last seen running north.
The attendant and customers in the store at the time were not harmed.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance and approximately 160cm tall. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, khaki shorts and white sneakers and had his face obscured with a black and white scarf.
