Police are investigating the attempted armed robbery of a Lawnton convenience store at knifepoint this afternoon.
Around 3.15pm, a woman entered the Gympie Road store and threatened staff members with a knife while demanding property.
When a staff member attempted to engage her in conversation she fled the store empty handed.
Nobody was physically injured during this incident.
