Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Grange overnight.

Around 9.00pm last night, a man has entered a service station on Day Road and produced what appeared to be a handgun.

He confronted the attendant and demanded that the attendant empty the till.

The attendant has complied and filled a bag with cash and cigarettes.

The man has then left the store on foot and was last seen heading west on Day Road.

There were no physical injuries as a result of the robbery.

The man is described as being 180cms tall with a thin build.

He was last seen wearing a white jumper, dark shorts, a blue beanie, black gloves and had his face covered with a mask.
