Police have charged three men following a series of burglary and armed robbery offences across the South Eastern police region.
The incidents include the break and enter of a Robina newsagency, break and enter of a Coomera Lodge, break and enter of a Norfolk tavern, armed robbery of a Tambourine Bowls Club, break and enter of a Beaudesert hotel and the break and enter of a tavern in Burleigh Waters.
It will be alleged that the men were armed with a high powered rifle and utilised concrete cutters to break into ATM’s and safes contained in the premises.
It will be further alleged that police located a clandestine laboratory at a Southport house as well as firearms, drugs, and cash.
A 19 year old Labrador man, a 26 year old Southport man and a 27 year old Parkwood man have been charged with a number armed robbery and burglary charges.
All three men are expected to appear before the Southport Magistrates Court on April 4.
Investigations are continuing.
