Detectives from Operation Counteract have arrested two men suspected of two separate robberies at opposite ends of the metropolitan area

On Monday 4 June, an 18-year-old man from Salisbury Heights was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery, after the Surrey Downs post office was robbed on Friday 1 June.

Police will allege that three men entered the post office, and one of them was armed with a knife. The trio then fled with an amount of cash.

Investigations continue regarding the other two suspects.

The man has been refused bail, and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 14 August 2012.

Yesterday a 30-year-old man from Port Noarlunga was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery, after he allegedly robbed the Cove Tavern in Hallett Cove yesterday.

He left the hotel and was seen to get into a white BMW sedan which detectives have seized.

The man was refused bail, and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court today.
