A break-in at an Adelaide hills golf club has led to the arrest of a man last night.

Just after 10pm, police were called to the Mount Barker Golf Club in Bald Hills Road, where an alarm had been activated.

Upon arrival, patrols found that a window in the clubhouse had been smashed, and alcohol had been taken from the bar.

Shortly after, an 18-year-old man from Mount Barker was arrested and charged with serious criminal trespass. He will appear in the Mount Barker Magistrates Court at a later date.
